About Niki P.
I’m VP, Editor-in-Chief for the Portfolio imprint at Penguin Random House, where I lead editorial strategy for our growing commercial nonfiction lists, focusing mostly in business, self-help, economics, biography, memoir, and psychology. In the last decade I’ve had the privilege of editing a number of leading authors in the business and practical nonfiction space, including Ryan Holiday, Scott Galloway, Cal Newport, Seth Godin, Annie Duke, Nir Eyal, Vanessa Van Edwards, Indra Nooyi, Brad Stulberg, Katy Milkman, Nick Bilton, Katherine Morgan Schafler, Helaine Olen, Shane Parrish, John Maeda, and Jennifer Brehenny Wallace.I am also co-founder, with Bria Sandford, of the new imprint Thesis, which specializes in serious nonfiction with a strong point of view. In our first year we published the national bestseller The End of Race Politics by Coleman Hughes and the #1 New York Times bestseller The Small and the Mighty by Sharon McMahon. On LinkedIn, I am looking to connect with other book publishing and media professionals eager to talk about the future of books and publishing, and stay in touch with people whose work I admire. I am not considering unsolicited submissions or applications for freelance editorial work at this time and do not accept connection requests from people I don\'t know.
