About Nikhil Javeri
I am a senior honors student in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where I am exploring the fields of finance and business analytics. I spent much of my life playing soccer and the saxophone, where I was able to refine my ability to distinguish my role within a team and fit seamlessly within varying groups of individuals. Coming to college, I kickstarted a blog to write about various financial subjects of interest to me, of which stock picking really piqued my interest. More broadly, I really enjoy writing my opinions and seeing if my forecasts materialize - I\'ve tried to perfect this craft by reading books like Nate Silver\'s \"The Signal and the Noise\" and Philip E. Tetlock\'s \"Superforecasting\". I am pursuing a career that can combine my intellectual curiosity with my quantitative proficiency and desire to make a significant contribution in collaborative environments.
