ABOUT NIKHIL GUNJAN

Hello, I am Nikhil Gunjan, Chief Manager -IT at Union Bank Of India. I have more than 17 years of Experience in Software Application development along with DevSecOps implementation.I use my skills and experience in guiding and mentoring DevOps engineers and help them in unleashing their potential. Apart from being a technical manager, my role also requires me to be a people manager and a vendor manager. I work in parallel with Business Stakeholders, Product Managers etc to achieve and deliver company missions.~ Established DevSecOps practice and processes in my current organisation and always promoted knowledge sharing and learning and equal growth opportunities.~ Played vital role in establishing CMMI level 3 practices in my current organization.~ Expert in handling all new initiatives projects from scratch (POC, Idea conception, Analysing, Planning, execution, Delivery and Operations)~ I use various tools to achieve this objectives: and the tools uses in my current role (but not limited to) are JIRA, Gitlab, JIRA, Sonarqube, Tanzu platform, etc~ Ability to understand functional specifications according to customer needs; good interactive and communication skills~ I am always open for new learning and challenges which helps in delivering customer friendly products faster without compromising on quality. I am PMP certified.~ Also worked at Rheinindia Technologies Pvt Ltd and P. J Software Pvt Ltd.
