Nikhil is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has more than 8 years of experience advising clients across industries in the areas of GST, Customs, and erstwhile Service Tax and VAT. Nikhil is a seasoned indirect tax professional with earlier stints at two major Big4s (KPMG and PwC). He also has industry experience in the Oil and Gas sector with US giant Baker Hughes, where he led GST litigations (including DGGI and Anti-evasion investigations), refunds, and ERP enhancement projects. Currently, he works as a Manager in EY\'s Indirect practice, catering to the real estate, textile, chemicals and manufacturing sectors. He also holds expertise in advising clients on PLI schemes, State incentives, and other schemes run by the Government to promote trade and commerce in India. He finds the complexity of indirect taxes to be a challenge that he enjoys.
