As a Principal Scientist in the Applied AI group at Amazon, I lead the development of multi-agent systems that harness Generative AI (LLMs/LVLMs) and traditional ML to automate and optimize knowledge operations work at scale. I focus on rapidly adopting cutting-edge research from the latest publications into real-world applications, driving innovation and impact.Over the past 15 years, I have been a practitioner across diverse AI domains, encompassing traditional ML, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, including Large Language Models (LLMs). I have extensive hands-on expertise in training, deploying, and managing complex ML solutions, across diverse use cases and business requirements, delivering measurable impact.I hold a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, where I specialized in predictive maintenance algorithms for complex systems, as well as MS and BS degrees in Industrial Engineering & Optimization. As an innovator, I have earned over 50 granted patents (with 40+ pending) and have contributed to the field through 20+ publications and four books.
