To conduct effective screening of checked luggage, hand luggage, parcels and all persons gaining access to the ship as well as to carry out physical searches of guests, crew and visitors in accordance with the guidelines of the SSP.To maintain effective and consistent levels of access control whenever in port ensuring the requirements and policies of the SSP are observed at all times and to ensure that all onboard complies with the company\'s security guidelines.To carry out their duties in accordance with the SSP and as directed by the Chief Security and Staff Captain/SSO.To monitor and respond to general crew activities and ensure that any form of unacceptable behaviour, misconduct or aggression is immediately stopped and reported to the SSO.
