WORK SYNOPSIS (AUTOMOTIVE BODY STRUCTURE DESIGN): Presently working as Lead Engineer for BIW Upper body and Underbody. Thorough experience in Design and development of Automotive Life Cycle of BIW components for upper body and underbody in Steel, Aluminum and Mix Material body and their Joining methods. 3 Years Renault Nissan OEM experience in design, proto build, supplier part development, Vehicle complete build from body shop -> Paint shop-> T&C -> Vehicle dynamics-> AVES analysis, testing and validation of Vehicle. Well known about the part feasibility confirmation based on DFM, DFA, and DFS. In depth knowledge in Durability, NVH & Crash performance requirements and their feasible implementations for structure perspective. Having good exposure of DFMEA, DVP & R. Through my experience in OEM got the good knowledge in APQP and PAPP. Extensive Experience of BEV and PHEV like VF6 & 7_RHD, Aiways U5, JLR L551C, etc. and ICE like Dastun RediGo, TATA Altroz, etc Worked for Tata Motors Altroz Light weighting Project in scope was to optimize weight on grounds of Vehicle Architecture, Materials, Manufacturing, Styling etc. for future EV programs in TATA Motors. Extensive experience of 3 years in feasibility analysis of automotive sheet metal parts and design of press tool. Well and good understanding of GD & T and Stack-up calculations, drawing reading, panel feasibility study, capturing customer requirement, creating design specifications. Good Exposure of project management processes and tools like Agile process, JIRA, RCA method, etc.
