   WellPoint is the largest health insurance company in USA based on membership and has more than 550 systems across the nation. As an architect I am responsible to work with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures. I am responsible to develop and maintain an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction. The architectural artifacts help business identify cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness.• Provided end to end architect solution for various Anthem business initiatives in various business domains like private exchanges, HIX, government mandates affecting multiple Anthem Large IT systems including Product/Benefit builder, membership, claims, Accums, actuarial, sales, provider, rating and quoting domains and portals.• Addressed all cross cutting concerns of SMEs from core systems and business owners of the project. Presented and reviewed architecture conceptual and integration approach with a large group of 200. Reviewed, presented and explained all architect artifacts like System Architect Document, conceptual and context diagrams, UML, use cases and activity diagrams to all projects stakeholders.• Designed, developed and successfully implemented real-time pharmacy claim processing and adjudication system for the WellPoint CDHP business. This systems process claims per day in a membership of 1.6 million. Each pharmacy claim is processed in real-time with average time of 300 milliseconds. • Pioneered first real-time pharmacy claim processing system using single book of accums and reduced operation cost, enhanced customer experience, by lowering OOS conditions. • Managed, Designed and developed WELLPOINT enterprise wide e-portal application for CDHP platform. This application serves CSR and 1.6 million CDHP member populations. This application uses.Net 3.5 with WCF.
