ABOUT NIKHIL GEORGE
I am currently working as Cyber Security Engineer M&A at Visa with the Mergers and Acquisition team of IAM, where I deal with multiple application Integrations with Visa. I have pursued my Master’s in Information Security from Royal Holloway University of London with my core modules as Cryptography, Information Security Management, Network Security, Computer Security and Digital Forensic. My final year dissertation is on “An overview of Centralized and Decentralized IAM Solutions in Cloud and IoT affecting Financial Firms ”. I have had several brainstorming sessions on Decentralized Identity during my course. During my degree I have developed Analytical Skill and ability to compare things in the corporate world and familiarised with ISO standards and which would give me overview with the managerial aspects of Cyber Security. With a prior experience and former employee of HSBC as Cyber Security Analyst. I\'ve worked under the department of IAM (Identity and Access Management), Performed User Access Control using Password Manager tools such as CyberArk, One Identity applications. Deployed Privileged Account Management in various environments in project life cycle. Troubleshooting and managing Incidents and Service Requests in GSR and ServiceNow within SLA. Analyse and resolve technology and end user incidents during standard business hours and on-call support at critical crisis times and monitor issue resolutions. Collaboration with application teams, Vendors and Engineers when necessary to resolve the issues.Prior to my full-time role at HSBC, I\'ve Worked as Intern at Cybervie, with hands on experience on Web Application Penetration Tools(WAPT), Vulnerability Assessment and Source Code Review.Worked as Intern at SmartBridge, working on Python, PyTorch and Tensorflow, which lead to development of Gesture Recognition for Sign Language in 5 months.I pursued my bachelor’s in computer science at Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology. In this role, I participated in many activities and competitions, activities such as attended workshops on Ethical Hacking, Android, IOT and Hackathon.
