About Nikhil da Rocha

I’m currently working for the Next Gen Consumer Banking Division in Barclays as an Assistant Vice President where we are building a Next Gen cloud native Banking product on AWS. I’m part of the DevOps Team and my role involves managing a team and implementing DevOps and Cloud solutions,leveraging AWS, Cloudformation, Containers, CI/CD and Chef. Prior to this I was part of the USCB Division in Barclays. During my time here I’ve worked on multiple projects leveraging multiple technologies.Openstack, Chef, Vault, Vagrant, Packer, Terraform, Jenkins, Bash, Ruby.I’m also pursuing a part time Online Degree in Programming and Data Science from IIT Madras.I hope to leverage the skills learnt here to expand my knowledge in the field of Data Science and Software Engineering.
