ABOUT NIKHANJ RATAN

As a Counterparty Risk Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley, I apply and monitor the Initial Margin for trades across various fixed-income products such as Rates, Swaps, FX, Options, Swaptions, CDX & and Exotic securities. I also analyze the counterparty and market risk factors to manage the risk exposure at the trade, portfolio, and counterparty levels. I have an MBA from IIM Indore, where I gained a strong foundation in corporate finance, financial modeling, and financial analysis. I have also cleared the CFA L1 exam (top 10%), and the FRM exam (charter pending), and earned the FMVA designation from CFI. These credentials demonstrate my proficiency and interest in the field of finance and risk management. Before joining Morgan Stanley, I worked for Asian Paints Ltd. in the supply chain vertical for over two years. There, I successfully commissioned and installed three major CapEx projects, leading a team of seven people. I also handled plant maintenance, inventory management, cross-functional team leadership, and annual budgeting. I am a certified Six Sigma Green Belt professional, which reflects my ability to apply data-driven and quality-focused methodologies to improve processes and performance. I am passionate about learning new skills and exploring new opportunities in the dynamic and challenging world of finance and risk.
