I am a Chartered Accountant turned Tax Technology Specialist with expertise in developing impactful cross-platform solutions for GST compliance, reconciliation, data analytics, and automation. With a strong background in tax domain knowledge, I leverage my skills to create scalable software solutions that meet business objectives.Currently, I serve as a Director in Tax Technology & Transformation at EY India. In this role, I design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions for tax compliance and reporting. I excel in conducting trainings and demos to ensure successful implementation and user adoption. Additionally, I collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that align with business goals.My technical proficiency includes Python, JavaScript, React JS, Angular, and more. I have developed a range of web, desktop and mobile applications such as Data Transformation tool, GST e-Invoice QR scanner, IRP Desktop Utility, GST Audit Tool, customized reconciliation reports, and visualization dashboards.Prior to my current position, I held managerial roles in Indirect Tax at EY LLP. I acted as the Single Point of Contact for GST Audits and certification, developing plans and procedures for audits and conducting trainings on legal and technical aspects. I also gained valuable experience in VAT implementation while working in Saudi Arabia. Prior to GST, I had an opportunity to work on the Direct Tax front for 5 years.Driven by a passion for technology-driven tax solutions, I constantly seek new skills and adapt to diverse projects.
