Program Coordinator - Undergraduate Health Research Exploration @Kinesiology And Health Science Student Organization
Lead a team of over 50 students to connect and support undergraduates in finding fulfilling hands-on research opportunities. Provide workshops, seminars, peer-mentoring, newsletters, and other services to over 500 students to uplift the research community and promote student engagement. Lead Organizer of the Conference for Undergraduate Health Research (CUHR), one of the largest undergraduate health research conferences in Canada. CUHR provides an accessible platform for students to present their work, strengthen their scientific communication skills, and engage in global academic exchange. Under my leadership, CUHR increased its annual award offerings by over (a more than 65% increase) and is actively broadening its international listserv outreach to reach more than faculty globally. By the end of my tenure, CUHR is expected to have hosted more than 500 undergraduate presenters from over 15 countries, welcomed over 850 attendees, and awarded over in recognition.
