Working within a novel, multidisciplinary stroke clinic with a focus on secondary prevention.Provide exercise advice underpinned by behaviour change techniques to help stroke survivors (subacute phase; 6 weeks post-stroke) increase their exercise self-efficacy and safely engage in regular exercise.The multidisciplinary stroke team comprises a stroke nurse consultant, exercise specialist, dietitian, nurse and Stroke Association representative.Pilot project funded by the Burdett Trust for Nursing.
