Technical responsibility for vehicle projects\\\\nWorking closely with the CEO, Technical Director and Creative Director I am responsible for all technical aspects of the vehicle. I lead all function groups to design and engineer the vehicle and direct them to work with the styling team, commercial departments, quality team and manufacturing department using a holistic and collaborative approach to all aspects of vehicle engineering design. Building relationships within cross functional groups; team building skills, positive attitude, flexible and good work ethic.\\\\nCurrently leading the design of the T.50 – Production hypercar. previous projects include a city car joint venture with a global OEM and an existing brand looking to enter the automotive sector and the TVR Griffith launched at Goodwood in 2017.\\\\n• Working with and reporting to the customer throughout a project\\\\n• Creation and management of Vehicle Level Specification, Features List and other vehicle level specifications\\\\n• Concept & target setting at the vehicle level and cascading these to detailed system attributes within the team\\\\n• Benchmarking, high-level attribute definition & management\\\\n• Vehicle design from occupant and package layout to detail design and component release\\\\n• Styling studio engineering liaison for surface release and Colour/Material/Finish\\\\n• Reviewing existing and future legislation to define requirements for the vehicle project\\\\n• Build support & vehicle development\\\\nNon-Project Responsibilities\\\\n• Creation of standards and procedures including feedback from completed projects\\\\n• Providing technical leadership and engineering support throughout the business\\\\n• Mentoring of graduate engineers\\\\n• Directing the creation of automated CAD and Excel tools in lieu of a PLM system\\\\n• Supporting introduction of a PLM system – defining requirements with all stakeholders\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
