Main duties:•Leading on developing and implementing a new EDI Structure within DWP’s Policy Group, aligning with wider departmental strategy and engaging with several stakeholders, at all levels, to ensure buy in and manage the change process. •Developing 5 working groups to support with the EDI Structure with representation from staff across Policy Group covering a range of practices such as Recruitment/Resourcing, Learning & Development, tacking Bullying Harassment, Discrimination.•Project Managing a new and innovative Ethnic Minority Senior Management Development Scheme, engaging with Talent as well as Learning and Development teams, involving Senior Leaders from across the Civil Service, capturing feedback and refining the programme. •Proactively leading on changing and refining existing Resourcing practices, to support with increasing diverse representation across the Group.•Coaching and advising Seniors at Director level on effective EDI interventions and influencing them to adopt approaches which prioritise inclusion and mitigate risks for the organisation.•Developed a new EDI Policy network to ensure oversight of EDI work, empower staff members to deliver sessions supporting with the EDI Structure and manage organisational resource ensuring duplication is avoided.•Leading on the analysis of high-level EDI data, including data-deep dives for Bullying Harassment Discrimination, and engagement and fair treatment scores and presenting these to Senior and other stakeholders, leading to the development of targeted EDI interventions and initiatives.•Leading on the development of an EDI Communications strategy, liaising with Communications, Engagement professionals as well as Departmental Staff Networks and Director Generals to create impactful sessions and embed EDI events and practices across the Group.•Reverse mentoring a Director General, offering them effective insights to support with their role as Departmental protected characteristic Champion.
