ABOUT NIHARIKA SIKKA

I’ve always been comfortable working across different perspectives. Growing up and studying across Dubai, Kuwait, and India meant adapting early to new environments, people, and ways of thinking. That experience shaped how I work today: listening carefully, asking better questions, and staying open to more than one way of approaching a problem. That mindset naturally pulled me toward analytical and consulting work, including how I use AI as a thinking aid rather than a shortcut. I’m comfortable working on problems that aren’t clearly defined at the start and need structure before they need answers. I enjoy breaking down ambiguity, deciding what actually needs to be analysed, and using data, research, or well-designed prompts to arrive at insights that are practical and grounded.Today, as Head of R&D at 180 Degrees Consulting MUJ, I work on articles, case studies, market analyses, company deep dives, and guesstimates across consulting projects and competitions. Alongside this, I’ve worked as an Associate Data Analyst in a remote, multicultural team, where collaboration across different backgrounds and clear communication mattered as much as the analysis itself. These experiences have reinforced the importance of translating thinking into outputs others can actually use.Across my work, I’ve learned that good analysis isn’t about complexity or tools alone. It’s about clarity, structure, and judgment, knowing what to focus on, when to question assumptions, and how to communicate insights so they can inform decisions.Going forward, I’m looking to continue growing in data analytics and consulting roles where thoughtful analysis, responsible use of AI, and collaboration in remote and cross-cultural teams are genuinely valued.
