I am Niharika Dasgupta, a licensed clinical psychologist practicing my expertise at Xanadu Healthcare Pvt Ltd. With a focus on personality-related, neurotic, and developmental disorders, my therapeutic modalities encompass house visits, online video conferencing, and an OPD setup. Proficient in three languages—English, Hindi, and Bengali—I adopt an eclectic approach to therapy, centering on trauma-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and neo-psychoanalysis. My extensive experience spans various demographics, from toddlers and pre-teens to teenagers, young adults, and a segment of the geriatric population. Over the past nine years, my dedication to psychology has grown alongside my academic pursuits, culminating in four years of professional practice. Nearly one year of this tenure has been dedicated specifically to my role as a clinical psychologist. My immersion into the intricate field of psychology commenced in the 9th grade, sparked by the compelling pages of a book on dream interpretation. Guided by my grandmother\'s fervent wish for me to contribute meaningfully to society, I discerned psychology as the conduit through which I could fulfill this aspiration. Throughout my childhood, a profound interest in literary sciences and an avid exploration of social sciences defined my intellectual pursuits. As an adept orator and fervent participant in extracurricular activities, I was drawn to the nuanced exploration of human behavior and emotions. Today, I proudly bear the title of a licensed clinical psychologist. Diversity is not just a principle within my professional life but a fundamental aspect of my personal journey. Residing in over five cities cultivated in me the innate ability to forge connections and build bonds—an indispensable skill in a field centered on understanding and connecting with others.
