ABOUT NIHARIKA CHADHA DOGRA
Ms.Niharika is an intrinsically motivated and committed professional, bringing in over thirteen years of rich experience in psychological counseling. She takes pride in the privileged opportunity of having addressed the problems, needs and concerns of military personnel and their families across various Airforce Stations in India. She has facilitated personal and professional growth of military personnel and their families through preventing counseling to ensure mental health, as well as interventions to make the military community more resilient in dealing with the challenges of being part of the military environment. She specialized in relationship enrichment and dealing with personal issues stemming from poor interpersonal relations in family and at work. Her areas of interest are developing intrapersonal and interpersonal skills among individuals and couples as well as family therapy. Having completed her Master\'s Degree in Psychology and Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling and Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology, she initially worked in educational settings such as schools and colleges. Here, she provided counseling not only to students and teachers, but also to faculty and parents, addressing issues of best practices in child development and optimal parenting strategies. She was also a member of the Students Advisory Board at the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur,where she conducted workshops on guidance and counseling for college students. Additionally, she Conducted a talk on \"How to Handle Exam Stress\" on All India Radio. She has also contributed a chapter in WAGS Psychology for the Military Spouse on the topic \" Challenges to Military Spouses Before, During and After Deployment.\" Furthermore, she has experience in Nursery Teachers Training and competence in management and training for individuals with learning disabilities.
