Responsibilities and Achievements-Lead a mid sized team ~15 reports supervising their daily tasks, identifying + resolving road-blocks etc -Assist senior leadership with strategic planning and vision, creating OKRs, estimation planning, capitalization etc-Partnering with product owners to turn high-level requirements into product features / enhancements-Design and architect testable, scalable solutions to complex problems using the latest frameworks & tools-Prioritize work for your team, making difficult tradeoffs based on business constraints, ensuring on-time deliverables and high-quality software-Active role in the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes-Manage performance evaluation, feedback, mentoring, coaching, growth and development of engineers on my team via regular 1-1s, book-club, lunch and learns etc-Championing employee happiness + retention: Identify areas of passion for each + providing opportunities to work in said domains/ tasks, recognition of individual effort, 1-1s, continuous feedback, team building etc-Help improve the processes and patterns of interfacing within a team + across multiple teams-Engage across teams to help facilitate the delivery of high quality complex projects in a timely manner-Lead retrospectives, sprint planning and backlog refinement meetings to prioritize and plan the work.
