ABOUT NIHALE MOUGADDAR
I am currently pursuing an MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at LSE as a Chevening Scholar, having been selected from among the 1% of applicants in the 2025–2026 cohort. Grounded in an Industrial Engineering degree from ENSAM Casablanca, I bring rigorous analytical thinking and a systems mindset to the challenges of impact-driven entrepreneurship.Over the past six years, I’ve led strategic initiatives across Africa and the Middle East—from opening new regional hubs to overseeing multi-country programs—where my teams and I supported hundreds of entrepreneurs in scaling operations, securing funding, expanding impact, and tapping into global opportunities. These experiences shaped my career and highlighted a critical challenge: the persistent funding gaps, systemic obstacles to scale, and fragmented support structures that limit the potential of early-stage ventures.Continuation of my academic and career path—through Chevening and the MSc at LSE—is a deliberate step to deepen my capacity to address those gaps with strategic insight, practical frameworks, and regional relevance.Earlier, I built foundational skills in entrepreneurship through my participation in the SUSI (Study of the U.S. Institute) on Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Connecticut (2018), where I gained exposure to global best practices.My mission: To enable ecosystems where entrepreneurs thrive; where innovation is scalable, support systems are robust, and regional startup communities truly flourish.
