As a Capital Access Manager at Bridging Virginia, I help small businesses across the Hampton Roads region access the capital they need to start, grow, and thrive. I work directly with entrepreneurs to connect them with loans, grants, and financial resources, while also supporting broader regional efforts to strengthen economic opportunity for historically underserved communities.Key Responsibilities:Guide small businesses through loan application and approval processes, from pre-qualification to closing.Help businesses develop stronger financial readiness by reviewing business plans, operating budgets, cash flow projections, and collateral.Partner with banks, CDFIs, business development organizations (BDOs), and localities to match businesses with appropriate funding opportunities.Maintain strong relationships with local business owners, economic development agencies, and community partners.Deliver workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions to improve small business access to capital.Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and government regulations.Collaborate with leadership to improve capital programs and business support services.
