   As a Quality Assurance Engineer on a Microsoft engineering team, I support early‑stage validation of devices and system software through hands‑on lab testing and automated workflows. My role focuses on preparing, validating, and maintaining Devices Under Test (DUTs) to ensure readiness for pre‑release and Canary testing environments.I execute and monitor automated and manual test passes, perform device setup and recovery (imaging, configuration, and environment validation), and verify hardware and software readiness including firmware, drivers, peripherals, and connectivity.
