About Nigel Sammy
Over twenty (20) years of technical experience with various technologies which includes over nineteen (19) years of data platform and analytics experience. Ex-Microsoft Data Platform Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for 10 years!During my career, I held various roles which includes BSc Lecturer, Senior Consultant, Application Developer, Analyst, Database Administrator, Database Developer, Project Manager, Architect, Team Lead and Manager. I was also an Account Technology Strategist at Microsoft and was responsible for providing pre-sales and technical/architectural support for over 200 agencies in both Commercial and Public Sector. In the past, I co-author Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2014 Upgrade Technical Guides and was a technical editor of Wrox Professional Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2016 Reporting Services books. For the last fifteen (15) years I have been presenting on data platform and analytics topics for various international conferences and events.
