My career background has revolved around Sales & Marketing for the past 25 plus years. Starting out at the bottom, and developing my skills to include account management / business development management / sales directorship / general management / which are all basically derived at developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the common cause of increasing revenue from sales. I consider myself to be commercially aware, hold a good understanding of the automotive and construction industries, excellent communication skills with a multi faceted customer base, a good presenter at board level, have good industry allies and contacts, good P&L skills, organised, diligent in my work, analytical, highly customer focused and a good all round asset to any business wanting to develop revenue sales from a product or service. I have never failed in my career to increase business turnover by ‘thinking outside the box’ and by taking an entrepreneurial approach. It is a key requirement to seek out every incremental sales and service opportunity to assist in improving revenue streams. In working mainly in unsupervised roles I totally immerse myself in my work role 24/7 thriving on challenging situations that result in a good outcome for both the client/customer and business. Throughout my career I have had to build, hire, fire, manage, develop, encourage, train, and support sales teams and other departmental managers. My success has taken me on many award trips, but I am pleased to say that at 47 I still have the drive and enthusiasm to want to succeed and continuously improve my career path.
