I manage a team of security researchers within Cisco Talos, primarily focused on XDR. This entails coordinating net new research with engineering teams for numerous product classes including Cloud Security on AWS and Azure, Endpoint, Network, Email and Identity Management. My team also handles outbreaks and we therefore perform basic Incident Response activities, and create automated triage and remediation scripts within Cisco\'s Orbital platform. I am responsible for detection content planning for my team across three different products as well as attracting and growing new talent on my team. I also engage engineering teams in engine design, detection strategy, customer experience and UI design.
