ABOUT NIGEL POWELL

22 years experience in single and multi site management with a desire to deliver a premium service together with efficiency and cost improvements in a parcel delivery and collection network with a leading UK carrier. I have an approach centred on a strong customer focus and the understanding of the importance of establishing strong working relationships with customers, whilst ensuring that employee engagement and people development are core drivers, warehouse and operations staff. My main goals are to lead and inspire my operations team to be As One and be the best service providers. To develop and maintain a customer driven culture within the operation ensuring we exceed our customers exceptions. To engage and empower our employees and give them the ability and skills to deliver the very best standards and results. Promoting our core values to all levels. To retain and develop our talented Managers and staff building a secure future in a competitive market place. I am a facilitator for DHL pep team in and a trained TACs demonstrator for DHL Parcels. Recently completed the GDPR NCFE level 2 certification in data protection and security. NCFE level 2 certification in Diversity and Equality.
