An executive director and board member for over thirteen years, I am an experienced business leader and chartered electrical engineer currently working for Turbo Power Systems Limited, a developer of specialist Power Electronics and High Speed Electrical Machines for Rail, Industrial, Energy and Military sectors.My experience encompasses business & engineering leadership, strategic product development & exploitation, sales & business development, manufacturing, financial management & forecasting and six sigma in both large corporate and Small to Medium Enterprise companies.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated an ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to build new business and improve profitability.I’m familiar with identifying and exploiting new market opportunities through the identification, execution and introduction of new electronic and electro-mechanical products & solutions having led all stages of the product development lifecycle from concept definition through to volume manufacture. I hold PhD in electrical engineering and am certified in Design for Six Sigma.I am involved with industry strategy at a national level as an active steering group member of Power Electronics UK.
