ABOUT NIGEL CHALLIS

Highly accomplished and results-oriented with over 30 years of progressive experience in the BIM industry with a mostly MEP bias. Proven track record of successfully leading BIM implementation on complex projects, from conceptual design through construction and handover.My expertise lies in leveraging cutting-edge BIM software, mostly using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, & Solibri, Lately i have also been involved in a Morta rollout to facilitate efficient model coordination, advanced clash detection, and data validation. I am adept at developing and maintaining BIM execution plans, ensuring adherence to project requirements and international standards, including ISO 19650.A key strength is my analytical approach to BIM data. Recently I have been learning Power BI to create dynamic dashboards and insightful reports, transforming raw BIM information into actionable intelligence for project stakeholders. Furthermore I am learning VBA for automating repetitive tasks within excel and customizing workflows, significantly enhancing productivity.I am committed to driving digital transformation, improving project efficiency, reducing risks, and fostering a collaborative environment among multidisciplinary teams.
