Pioneered the use of Gradient Boosting Machines in insurance pricing, first demonstrating their out performance at scale in 2016. With a small team of 5 expert Data Scientists I have gone on to redefine Best-in-Class insurance pricing by using machine learning techniques and trained up over 100 people to be proficient in these news ways of pricing, winning multiple company awards for technical innovation in the process.
