Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and implement a corporate security strategy aligned with BBC objectives and regulatory requirements.Lead business continuity planning to ensure organizational resilience.Advise senior management on security risks, mitigation, and incident response.Operational ManagementOversee the fixed guard security contract, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance.Lead a security team, promoting high performance, training, and professional development.Manage security operations across physical, personnel, and information security.Coordinate with IT, HR, Legal, and other departments for integrated security.Regularly update business continuity plans (BCPs) to address critical functions and processes.Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Coordination.Ensure BIAs are current, assessing the impact of disruptions on operations.Prioritize business functions by criticality and recovery time objectives.Risk Management and ComplianceIdentify, assess, and mitigate security risks through effective policies.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards.Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and BIAs.Crisis Management and Incident ResponseDevelop crisis management protocols and incident response plans.Serve as the primary contact for security incidents, ensuring effective resolution.Conduct post-incident reviews to improve future responses.Organize regular BCP testing and drills, adjusting plans as needed based on outcomes.Crisis ManagementLead crisis response, coordinating resources and guiding the organization through disruptions.Vendor and Third-Party ManagementAssess business continuity capabilities of critical vendors and third-party providers.Ensure SLAs include clear business continuity requirements.This role ensures comprehensive security, operational resilience, and coordinated responses to protect the BBC\'s interests in a dynamic threat landscape.
