ABOUT WAWRZYNIEC NIEWODNICZAŃSKI

Wawrzyniec (Wawrzek for short) Niewodniczański is a great fan of the Open Source and Unix world. Sometimes he dreams about Linux domination everywhere (server, mobile, small devices and even desktop) fronts but most time he has his feet firmly on the ground. Therefore, beside his strong background in Linux (since he doesn\'t deprecate contacts with any other OS (even Windows!). He (load) balances his interested between desktops and servers and with great interests observes how the border between computer client (in wide meaning: workstations, laptops, but also smartphones and tables) and the internet (servers) become more and more fuzzy (cloudy). Maybe it\'s his academic background, but he really like numbers, therefore monitoring is his favourite area of DevOps. He doesn\'t mind work with monitoring on bare metal, private or public cloud. In general, he doesn\'t show preferences to any of those areas, until it\'s properly configured (with configuration management - of course).\"Chose right tool for a task\"- is what he thinks. He has classical SysAdmin background, but he likes to write some code as well. He even sometimes decipher \'DevOps\' as \"Development of Operational tools\".Linux and even computers is not the whole live, at least not for Wawrzek. Beside he haven\'t done too much (read any) science since his PhD he tries to keep in touch with latest results of scientific research. He cultivates his love to future (HiTech, S-F) and past (history), Space (astronomy) and Earth (geography), images (cinema) and words (books), body (sport) and soul (poetry, theatre).
