About Nieves Alfaro
Mr. Alfaro has more than 30 years of technical and management experience in civil engineering, tunnel engineering, and environmental engineering ranging from complete engineering design of water and wastewater infrastructure to construction oversight and management. Mr. Alfaro has worked in all phases of infrastructure projects for municipalities and water authorities and has coordinated with the many local and state agencies to execute their projects. My experience includes broad civil experience as a utilities engineer focusing on water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pumping station design, treatment plant construction, NPDES stormwater permitting for industrial/construction facilities, and project management. I also have broad environmental experience in solid and liquid waste characterization, hazardous and non hazardous waste management, monitoring well removal, surface impoundment design review, municipal and industrial landfill design review, and dewatering systems. My current assignment is serving as the Vice President of Water and Wastewater for Quiddity (formerly Jones|Carter) in Central Texas. My area of coverage is from San Antonio to Austin to Georgetown, Texas, providing water and wastewater pipeline engineering, facilities engineering and drainage improvements for municipal entities.
