I have got hands on working experience in Food and Home Appliance Industry in India as well as abroad, which includes my expertise in Product Development and Quality Assurance. I have done M.Sc.(Food Science & Technology) and B.A.Sc.(Food Technology) Skill Sets: Product Development, Sensory evaluations and Quality Assurance • Understanding overall development process for developing new products and improvement of existing products based on market trends / new product requirements with thrust on reducing product cost. • Conducting sensory panels for new product evaluation on taste and for improvement in existing products. • Coordinating new product development including finalizing new concept, specifications of new ingredients, microbial and chemical analysis. • Conduct competitive benchmarking and testing of prototypes. • Scaling up of the new product from the Laboratory level trials to full production trials. • Planning & executing new product development activities in coordination with the other departments • Preparing Job Aids, Standard Operating Procedures, manuals & work instructions for stores related to products. • Reviewing the operational practices, identify the areas of obstruction/ quality failures and work on system and process changes for qualitative improvement. Quality Assurance • Implementation of Quality Management Systems in the Units. • Appraising the prevalent processes, identifying loopholes if any and undertaking result-oriented measures for alleviating them. • Implementing steps for curtailing product/ process rejections and defects. • Guiding and providing documentation for process stages in Quality Control especially during the implementation
