Automation Engineer - ProductionMynaric Lasercom GmbH, Munich• Responsible for the integration process of space encoders into satellite optical (laser) communication terminals in series production, improving process flow and cycle times. • Developed an automated test bench with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for tuning and calibration of space encoders and reducing the testing time from 60-45 minutes to 15-20 minutes per unit. • Trained engineers and technicians to perform the tuning and calibration process.• Coordinating with the manufacturing engineers to improve and optimize the existing process plans and assembly steps• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to perform Root Cause Analysis for Non-Conformances (NCs) raised in the assembly process.• Develop and document work instructions and standard operating procedures in the Manufacturing execution system• Implemented a test setup to reduce reworks during assembly by pre-filtering the components based on the system requirements
