ABOUT NIDA ANIS
I am an eighteen-year-old engineering student currently working as a Motorsport Engineer with Evans GP. Having gained additional trackside experience with race-winning teams such as DW Evans GT and Versa Motorsport, I am determined to pursue a future within the industry - with the ultimate goal of working as a race engineer at the highest echelons of motor racing. As a McLaren Racing Scholar in their 60 Scholars Programme, I am undertaking an exclusive accelerated course of learning, mentorship, and experience with the team and its Official Partners - Google, Cisco, and Cadence. I also work in motorsport and automotive journalism: I am Feeder Series’ F1 Academy Editor and I also undertake freelance work for Fortloc Experiences. Beyond motorsport, I am undertaking an EDT-Endorsed Year in Industry as an R&D Engineering Student with PCS Instruments - ahead of starting university in Autumn 2024. Reliable, conscientious, and willing to learn new skills, I have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. I am committed to continuous improvement in the pursuit of excellence, and I never settle for second-best. I seek to gain experience with dynamic and exciting motorsport teams that will enable me to apply the skills that I have developed - both within the classroom and at racetracks around the world - to a fast-paced engineering environment.
