I work where ideas meet execution. At The New Yorker, I partner with writers, editors, and leadership to shape how projects actually run, overseeing spend across New Yorker-branded work, negotiating talent agreements, producing the tentpole event, and managing our freelance ecosystem. The through line is making sure day-to-day decisions stay aligned with broader strategy when priorities compete. A big part of my role is determining how work moves forward and the most effective way to execute it.

1. Senior Manager, Editorial Business Operations

   The New Yorker

   May 2025 — Present

   I oversee the operational and financial side of New Yorker–branded work across print, digital, audio, and live events. Much of my role centers on making sure creative ambitions line up with practical realities, including budget oversight, negotiating talent agreements, and managing the freelance ecosystem that supports the magazine’s work.I work closely with writers, editors, and leadership to figure out how projects should move forward and the most effective way to execute them. That often means coordinating across editorial, legal, finance, and production teams, clarifying priorities, and building processes that keep complex projects on track.I produce the New Yorker Festival and support other major initiatives that bring the brand into live and collaborative spaces. Across all of this, my focus is making sure strong ideas have the structure, resources, and alignment they need to actually happen.
