This volunteer role is focused on planning valuable, data-rich meetups, facilitating member engagement, and sharing knowledge that helps members enhance their professional capabilities and solve real-world design challenges. I lead by sharing what I know, creating connections, and ensuring everyone has a place to contribute.Learning & Development LeadPicking Topics: I put together a content calendar based on member feedback, industry trends, and new software features. Topics range from core skills to advanced applications like simulation and generative design.Developing & Sourcing Content: I personally develop and present a good portion of our technical content. I also connect with and schedule other industry experts to ensure a diverse range of high-quality presentations.Staying Up to Date: I keep up with annual SOLIDWORKS releases and emerging industry technologies to ensure our group\'s content provides a competitive edge.Beta Testing & Software Improvement: I actively participate in the SOLIDWORKS beta program, testing pre-release software to provide direct feedback for product development. This gives me early insight into new functionality, allowing me to prepare our members for upcoming changes and share advanced knowledge.Instructional DesignerPlanning Meetings: I design our meeting formats to include a good mix of presentations, live demos, and networking time, which helps everyone learn more and build connections.Helping Speakers: I work with presenters to help them shape their content, making sure it\'s clear, on-topic, and engaging for the audience.Getting Feedback: I make it a point to gather feedback from members to continuously improve our meetings, from the topics we cover to how we run things.
