As a Finance Assistant for Kappa Alpha Theta, I work with the VP of Finance to manage day-to-day chapter finances. I help approve checks, track member fines and merchandise fees, and keep our financial records organized in Excel. I’m also part of the Cabinet and Finance Committee, where I contribute to budgeting decisions and ongoing financial planning. Working with our Finance Advisor and executive team has given me a better understanding of how detailed and fast-moving financial operations can be in a large student organization.
