ABOUT NICOLETTE HELENE PEERMAN
I have a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in Water, Environmental, and Coastal Systems from Northeastern University, Boston, MA (Summer 2024). My Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO (Spring 2019). Additionally, I have my Engineering in Training License (Fall 2020).My long-term educational goal is to achieve a PhD in Civil Engineering with a concentration in geo-environmental engineering or Environmental Engineering. My long-term career goal is to facilitate/run my own research lab that focuses on addressing water insecurity in underrepresented and marginalized communities in the United States and third-world communities internationally. My interests and passions include fate/transport of contaminants in soil and drinking water (preferred contaminate of focus is PFAS), environmental remediation, environmental justice, environmental health, and DEIJ.
