Hello! I\'m a seasoned multimedia journalist with over a decade of editorial experience covering breaking news and lifestyle topics on a national scale. My passion for storytelling, discovery, connection and truth has led me to become the editorial leader, analytics expert and multi-platform strategist that I am today. In my role as Trending Editor of TODAY.com at NBCUniversal, I covered the news of the day in a fast-paced newsroom, from ideating, assigning and editing breaking stories and long-form features under pressing deadlines, to packaging stories and optimizing headlines to be promoted across platforms. I used analytics tools, social media, SEO best practices, news judgment and my network to inform strategy and produce content for our national audience of 20 million visitors a month. Additionally, I hired, trained and managed our editorial interns year-round and mentored staff writers and reporters of all skill levels. Prior to joining a national newsroom, I served as Entertainment Editor at Apartment Therapy, where I launched and led the brand\'s first-ever Entertainment vertical. I\'ve also worked on the digital and print teams at Women\'s Health at Hearst, AFAR Media, The Knot at The Knot Worldwide (formerly XO Group) and Travel + Leisure at People Inc.(formerly Time Inc.).
