   This position is responsible for managing assigned territory by implementing strategies to recruit, retain and grow sponsor organizations and relationships to meet annual blood collection goals. This position also serves as a subject matter expert at speaking engagements, networking, and community events and is on the front line of making a positive impact in our community through educating the public about the need for blood.Job Functions/Duties:Responsible for the management of client accounts by assessing their needs, validating their expectations, and developing key performance metrics for presentation at business review with clients. Establish meetings and continually monitor clients to achieve maximum donor participation and customer satisfaction. Attend scheduled blood drives, monitor and respond to issues to ensure drive success. Includes being available outside of normal business hours as needed. Maintains accurate and updated information on assigned accounts using specialized software applications. Assist in creating and implementing a strategic plan for optimizing collections and penetration of the assigned territory. Continuously prospect for new sponsor accounts to ensure ongoing expansion of the donor base through mobiles and incenter collection programs. Assist in identifying and approaching potential financial and in-kind sponsors.Results orientatedResponsible for overall success and efficiency of assigned territory’s recruitment and collection events by achieving established results/goals within established time lines. Understands and demonstrates that intentions, activities, and results are not the same.Community engagement/educationResponsible for providing presentations and educating the public about blood donation and blood center’s needs at various community events such as workshops, health fairs and trade shows (may be on weekdays, evenings, or weekends). Promote MKBC’s special programs and initiatives within the assigned territory
