ABOUT NICOLE STELLON ODONNELL
I’m an Assistant Professor of Secondary Education with previous experience in grants administration, project directing, program coordination, instructional coaching, K12 teaching, and public speaking. I write poems, commentaries, and so many little bricks of prose. I have received an Alaska Literary Award and a Rasmuson Individual Artist Fellowship. My writing has appeared in Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, The Women’s Review of Books, the Anchorage Daily News, on the Alaska Public Radio Network, and in many other literary magazines. My additional skills include: grant research and writing, curriculum design, online instruction, instructional design, editing, classroom management, and pre-service teacher training. My work in the classroom has been recognized with a Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching and a Heinemann Fellowship.
