SKILLS
ABOUT NICOLE S.
I am a Speech-language Pathologist, Certified Neonatal Therapist and Trauma Informed Professional. I have experience working in a variety of settings including Early Intervention (0-3 years), pediatric inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient acute care and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). My career focus includes working with infants and pediatrics with feeding and swallowing disorders. Regardless of the setting I see my patients, I use Trauma Informed Care at the center of my goals. From this perspective, I can support the needs of both the children and families I work with to provide individualized, culturally appropriate and realistic treatment plans. Outside of work, I serve as a S.T.E.P and C.T.M.P mentor through ASHA and I am on the communications committee for SENTAC. Lastly, I enjoy presenting at academic institutions and conferences to share my knowledge as I continue to grow as a clinician. Please connect with me if you are interested in building your network. I am always looking for opportunities to connect and learn from others. Follow me on instagram:@nicole.in.the.nicu
