About Nicole Moehring
I am passionate about conducting research on topics critical to enabling and advancing sustainable energy generation technologies. With a strong background in materials and nanoscience research, I have developed skills in experimental design, thin film deposition, and characterization of nanoscale structures and properties.My PhD research focused on the growth and integration of 2D-materials in novel proton exchange membranes, particularly for hydrogen technologies. I have published multiple peer-reviewed papers in prestigious journals, demonstrating my ability to produce high-quality results and communicate them effectively. Upon completion of my PhD, I transitioned to a postdoctoral role in corporate research at Bosch, where I contribute to research on chemical energy conversion topics including PEM fuel cells and electrolysis.
