I specialize in• practical, usable program evaluations that build on the lived experiences and expert perspectives of those who implement, participate in, and invest in programs and initiatives• frameworks to make difficult decisions with limited resources • effective, goal-driven planning, project management, and technical assistanceIn recent years, I\'ve worked with clients to answer a wide range of questions such as.What are the most significant stories of change to come out of funding designed to economically transform former coal communities.Where should a city put new streetlights to meet its policy priorities.What is the supply and demand of nurses across a state, and do the data support expansion of nursing education.How should a state agency redevelop the formula for child care subsidies to meet objectives of access and equity, within certain rules and regulations.What logic underlies the design of a foster youth organization\'s programs, and what has been the impact of those programs?The common thread in each of these seemingly disconnected projects is the ability to define objectives and clarify questions, customize an analysis or assistance approach that will answer those questions, and deliver information so our clients can take action. I’m equally as comfortable in deep analysis behind a computer as I am speaking with community leaders and assisting other professionals. I love what I get to do every day.
