   Responsible for administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function in a multi-state environment at the ConMet Clackamas manufacturing plant (union), and Vancouver machining plant (non-union). Establish and implement improvement projects to address key employee experience areas: retention, training & development, culture, D&I. Work closely with union to manage application of CBA. First Chair CBA negotiations. Successfully negotiated a 5 year CBA term and cessation of pension. Administer leave laws for intermittent and continuous leaves, including: OFLA, FMLA, ADA, Paid Leave OR, WA Paid Family & Medical Leave, Workers Compensation. Facilitate successful return to work for employees returning from leave and accommodations. Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures, administer corporate employee handbook updates, and perform benefits administration. Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt, non-exempt, and temporary personnel. Conduct new employee orientations. Handle plant employee relations issues and coach leaders and teams to handle issues effectively. Identify root cause and work with stakeholders to improve systems. Administer workers\' compensation program. Oversee claims activity and coordinate with claims adjuster. Partner with safety to review accident reports, assist in accident investigations, correction action reviews, and prepare safety metrics reports. OSHA 30 certified.Identify new approaches, policies and procedures, and continuous improvements to enable successful business operations and cultivate a positive employee experience.
