Fulton ALS and Neuromuscular Disease Center-Collaborates with CMO of Research and Senior VP at Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) to oversee all NeuroNEXT clinical site operations at BNI St. Joseph\'s Hospital and Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital-Collaborates with Research Operations Manager at BNI to oversee development, implementation, coordination, and management of all sponsor and investigator-initiated ALS & Neuromuscular research trials at BNI-Serves as the primary liaison for all NeuroNEXT and ALS & Neuromuscular research projects through routinely informing key stakeholders of project plans, milestones, timelines, status, and decisions via regular reporting and coordinated discussions-Manages study budgets and resource needs, including preparation and submission of annual NIH reporting requirements, and ensures quality, performance, and compliance across all studies and projects-Participates in network-wide communications, training, education, protocol reviews, fellowship activities, and patient recruitment and retention activities-Performs study-specific procedures and assessments (muscle strength and functional motor testing, pulmonary function testing, psychological assessment, specimen collection and processing, among others)-Monitors, records, assesses, and reports all aspects of subject condition and status throughout conduction of clinical trials-Maintains relationships and coordinates activities with clinical staff, investigators, information technology, finance and contract specialists, and affiliated departments and institutions-Ensures quality data, documentation, and compliance with the IRB, reporting agencies, monitors, and sponsors-Provides education, training, guidance, and assistance on various departmental research studies
