With diverse and tenured experience in higher education administration and leadership, I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive campus culture that fosters student development, retention, and success.My core competencies include managing projects, planning events, developing partnerships, resolving conflicts, and creating content for social media. I hold a master\'s degree in higher education administration and leadership, and I am a certified advisor by the American Student Association of Community Colleges. I also have a certification in mental health first aid, which enables me to support students\' well-being and safety. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate in my field of expertise.

1. Executive Director Early College Innovation & Access

   Kern Community College District

   Jul 2025 — Present

   As Executive Director of a new early-college initiative, I will lead the design and launch of a program that brings college exposure to students as early as grades 3 through 8. The goal is to shift the college-going mindset earlier by offering a summer experience where younger students can explore age-appropriate college-style learning in a real campus setting. I will oversee all aspects of program development, with a strong focus on building internal partnerships across departments, campuses, and support services to ensure a coordinated and student-centered approach. A key part of the role will be engaging community and industry leaders to connect students with diverse career paths, helping them envision possibilities for their future. This work will support a broader effort to strengthen the educational pipeline, promote early literacy, and ensure that a broad and diverse group of students have the opportunity to see college as part of their future.
