About Nicole J. Wallace

Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Qualified Supervisor (LCMHC-QS) and a National Board Clinical Mental Health Certified Counselor (CCMHC). She is the founder and CEO of Transformation Counseling & Consulting, PLLC, a mental health group practice that provides workshops and group therapy. She has over 20 years of experience helping clients overcome trauma, managing life transitions, and developing coping skills. She specializes in helping women heal from anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. She has a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Nicole is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).Nicole provides a caring, non-judgmental therapeutic environment within her practice to help women process any past trauma and begin to prioritize their own needs. It is in that spirit that, she opened her mental health group private practice called Transformation Counseling and Consulting, PLLC (TC & C). Nicole obtained her Master’s Degree in Education in counseling from North Carolina State University. She is a U.S. Army veteran. As a mother, a wife, and a business owner, Nicole juggles many roles and understands the stress and struggles other women frequently face. Nicole volunteers a Postpartum Support International Peer regional liaison and as a group leader for the Black Moms Connect (Returning) group. She performs public speaking and workshops on mental health issues, raising self-awareness, and leadership techniques.Nicole was recognized as the NatCon23 Jeannie Campbell Legacy Scholarship recipient and obtained the United Health Foundation’s Diversity in Health Care Scholarship in 2023. She has received the 10K Catalyst grant from the Capital Area Workforce Development Board in North Carolina for 2024 & 2025 for staff development training for the TC & C staff.
